Hey, I'm Carl
I grew up on Bantayan Island — a small island in Cebu, Philippines, better known for white-sand beaches than software companies. I taught myself to code because I was obsessed with how much you could build with just logic and a text editor.
Since then, I've shipped a bilingual streaming platform, a P2P ride-sharing app used by actual commuters, multiple restaurant POS systems, and a national news site. No agency, no team — just real products used by real people.

I take projects from 0 to production. That means database design, server logic, API layer, and a frontend that actually works. No hand-offs, no guesswork. I've shipped real apps used by real people — a streaming platform, a POS system, a ride-sharing app.
Frontend & UI Development
Interfaces that feel as good as they look.
I care about the details: hover states, loading transitions, layout on a 375px screen. I build with React and TypeScript, reach for Tailwind for consistency, and use Framer Motion when the design calls for it. The goal is always fast, accessible, and responsive.

From product catalog to checkout to order tracking. I integrate Stripe for payments, handle cart logic, and build admin dashboards that give the owner full visibility. Currently building ShopForge — a full e-commerce platform with a React + Vite frontend.

Off-the-shelf software rarely fits real workflows. I've built custom POS systems for restaurants, CRM tools for service teams, and inventory trackers synced to sales in real time. Role-based access, PDF reports, and multi-user support — the stuff that matters.
Mobile App Development
Native Android apps with real-world features.
I built Sakay Na — a P2P ride-sharing app with live geolocation, Firebase auth, and a real-time booking system used by actual commuters. I work with the Android SDK and Java for performance-sensitive features, integrated with cloud backends.
WordPress & Content Sites
Fast-launching sites your client can manage.
Custom themes, plugin setups, and CMS configs without the bloat. I built NextUSAToday on WordPress — responsive, SEO-optimised, with popup campaigns and email marketing baked in. Handed off with full client training.
